You're So Special Hettie!

At Hettie's we're all about Tea.. and Cake... and then we realised we liked a great coffee every now and again. And Scotland needs really good Hot Chocolate. And sweeties instead of cake if you're quite full up.. And.... Well - here's our other specialities!

Coffee:

is blended to a unique roast by Edinburgh Tea and Coffee coffees. A very dark, rich roast with a blend of coffee beans from Indonesia & El Salvador plantations this is seriously full bodied!

Hot Chocolate:

Charlotte Flowers Aberfeldy based Chocolatier is supplying us with top quality, single origin beans and for the first time - EVER we think! - you can choose exactly how you'd like it served! Nicki is going dark, Clare is going milk and the very talented Chantelle is heading up a Hettie's action group to create the the Magic Mix of both!

The milk chocolate is single origin beans from Ghana to give a 40% chocolate and the dark is Sao Thome single origin 70% buttons. Go on, add giant marshmallows and cream for a super sugary rush! Toooo delicious for words.

Ice Cream:

Not exclusive to Hettie's... Boo Hoo! But the best we found anywhere! Orkney Ice-cream goes into our cones, our sundaes and our Icecream Sodas! Yummy!!

When I was 13 I had a job in a wee cafe waitressing. This was the first time I experienced the wonder of a Knickerbockerglory! Even the name makes you smile! When we were setting up Hettie's Pitlochry last year, Clare and I both became (even more!) animated at the thought of being one of the few to offer old fashioned sundaes!
