Tasting Tea With Hetties

Holding Tea leaves
Serious Tea Studies

Here at Hettie's Loose Leaf Teas and Infusions we've drunk cups and cups of tea to make sure you enjoy the very cuppa possible. We use some of the world’s best green, black and oolong teas alongside nature’s finest ingredients to create hand-blended teas and infusions that range from sophisticated and refined to downright potty and tasty!

From a strong kick-you-in-the pants Morning Cuppa to a soft and sweet Honey Bee Beautiful we’re certain you’ll find a favourite amongst our wonderfully unique tea blends. Take a crazy idea... Like A Cosy Wee Coorie. We chose a gorgeously calming camomile flower and blended it with rose petals, spearmint and lemon balm and blended them all into a tea that hugs you in tight and warms you up! Its Nicki’s favourite!

We took Sri Lankan Uva black tea and together with lemon peel, rose petals, cornflowers and natural bergamot we created the most delicious Earl Grey we have ever tasted. Milly Molly Minty, Berrytastic Baby, Little Miss Spice Girl... They’re all there to inspire, warm and pep you up!

We know you want to find out more!!! It was the Spice Girl wasn't it..??? Click here and we'll zip you through to our full range!

WHAT'S NEW PUSSY CAT?!

Our very own gorgeous Hettie Rose is quite the little master blender! With Mum and Auntie Nicki's own fascination for creating new blends reaching well... OCD levels to be honest!... it was only a matter of time before it started rubbing of on our girl!

So, Hettie Rose's first blend, at 7 years old, is JAZZ TIME - she is a show stopper! This is a gorgeous combination of Chinese Green Tea, Nettle and Apple! The appley taste shines through and gives a sweet, fruity flavour to the green tea and nettle. This is a gorgeous cuppa and we think its set to become a Hettie's Classic!

ANY GOOD STUFF TO SHOUT ABOUT?

For years and years people have used Nettle as a medicinal plant but more recently studies have began to confirm these beliefs and have given scientific validity to many of them! Thank goodness... there is a scientist in the family who would shout at us for wild claims!

So here we go - the benefits of nettle and little Jazz Time!

Nettle may help fight coughs, tuberculosis and asthma
It can help with skin problems, intestinal disorders and urinary tract infections
It can help combat allergies such as eczema and hay fever

Go on... Its ALL GOOD!
